The culture of any given city is often dictated by it’s artistic movements, and what’s happening now in Venice is no different. Every third Thursday of the month art lovers come from all around to enjoy the best the city has to offer, as the Venice Art Crawl (www.veniceartcrawl.com) has become a place where according to Amir, “art meets homelessness and grunginess.” He says, “it’s a mishmash of people, with a real culture arising, it’s creating a shift in the artwork. It’s really just a laid back vibe where you can ride your bike, wear your sandals and have a chill life.” Amir’s studio complex, known as 350 Studio, is opening it’s doors once again for The Crawl. The jewelry of Amanda Keidan (www.amandakeidan.com) as well as the stereoscopic 3D work of William Pickles (www.williampickles.com) will be on display at their respective spaces; both great precursors for Amir’s showing which will have more of a party vibe. Tomorrow night 9-11 the Ambassador of Rose Ave. will be your friendly host. Venice will provide the fresh air, and Amir will supply some fresh art.
