Most often in any given production, Yonatan is behind the scenes, cultivating other artists. So when looking for a photographer to work with, he knew that kind of support would be essential to a successful outcome. Amir and Yonatan have been friends for years, and have always had a great dynamic, so once the idea of a photo shoot was on the table, things moved quickly. They’re time together was effortless, as Amir created an atmosphere that allowed Yonatan to fully show himself. They took off down the street, shooting everywhere and laughing often, rolling with whatever the day gave them. Amir says that Yonatan, “went with it and had no attachments.” From doing a beatbox/rap duo improvisation to running around climbing on things for more artistic shots and making friends with some local homeless characters; this pair was able to capture a moment together that transcends the instruments and tools. The pictures speak for themselves, they quickly became the harmonizing aspect for the aesthetic of this site. Bringing both experience and fluidity to the table Amir was able to give identity to it through his eye and sensibility. According to Amir the best part was that, “we were able to rekindle the relationship, like finding an old friend in a new client.”
