Andrew Paul Woodworth – Stew

Andrew Paul Woodworth – Stew

Some of Andrew’s greatest collaborators have also been his best friends. Patrick Day (www.imdb.com/) is one of Andrew’s oldest friends, and has collaborated with him as both an actor as well as a director. Scotch Beck (www.myspace.com/scotchbeck) is a comrade who has played a pivotal role in Andrew’s musical career, as both a performer as well as a songwriter. Andrew describes Scotch as having “a real sweetness and a sharp intelligence.” He continues, “everybody love’s Scotch, that’s the truth of it.” These two individuals have created an album of children’s music, known as Musical Stew inspired by Patrick’s desire to communicate with his daughter. Patrick is the deep voice of Macho Nacho, while Scotch covers the upper range as Mouth Trumpet. They sing about the challenges we all face as children, anything from learning how to use the toilet, to memorizing all 50 states. The funny songs, heart felt music and simple productions have a charm and life of their own. Done in Scotch’s bedroom, it’s a testament to what creative minds mixed with some motivation are capable of.
