Brian and Yonatan met in 2004, playing in the group million/billion. Their friendship flourished as they began performing all over LA, eventually touring the entire US. Their chemistry brought a unique element to the music, and it was often that energy that was the highlight of their shows. With so many skills and abilities between them, the band began to record and produce their own record, entitled Ready.Fire.Aim. This momentum pulled in a top producer named Karl Derfler (www.discogs.com/artist/Karl+Derfler#p=1&t=Credits_All), who quickly helped the band reach a new level. This time was extremely inspiring for these two artists, as they began writing, producing and performing music outside of the band. One said project, that allowed them to express more of their personal flavors, was a song written with Vanessa Zarate (www.vanessazarate.com). Wasted Sentiment is a beautiful juxtaposition of Vanessa’s angelic voice, the the guys’ dark and cinematic sensibilities. As time has progressed the band came and went, however their friendship has remained ever strong. Currently, in conjunction with Miguel Atwood-Ferguson (www.myspace.com/miguelatwoodferguson), Brian is producing a song on Yonatan’s upcoming album. Once again it’s their vibe and chemistry that makes the process all that much more enjoyable, and the end result phenomenal. Brian describes it as, “an unspoken communication, we can look at each other and just know what the next step is.”
