Whether it’s music or acting, to Bryan Greenberg art is about the search for truth. He realizes the gravity of that notion, and although truth can be the simplest thing, it is often hard to come by. Bryan says, “As an audience member if you see someone singing or acting without feeling you aren’t gonna feel it, people know, you can’t fake being honest and real.” He is driven by no particular muse or fueled by any one specific message, but instead feels compelled to create for the sake of art and the need for expression. “I don’t know why I do it, I just do it because it has to come out.” Bryan’s most current musical endeavor entitled “We Don’t Have Forever” officially comes out tomorrow. The record was produced by Thom Monahan (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thom_Monahan), with Neal Casal (www.nealcasal.com/) playing bass and guitars, and Ric Menck (www.myspace.com/mencker) on drums. Bryan went for a focused sound, honing in on the stories each song shares about the transitions in Bryan’s life. According to him the record is about, “living in the moment and capitalizing on right now.” With that kind of optimism Bryan shares his art wholeheartedly all over the world.
