A cultivator of sound, community and culture, Davey hosts a weekly show in Venice, CA every Sunday night called Bacchanal. The spot used to be a speakeasy during the time of the prohibition known as the Del Monte Speakeasy. The owners used to run alchohol right off the boats into the club, using tunnels that lead from the club to the ocean. The dark and sexy room has housed celebrities throughout the years like Charlie Chaplin, the Doors and Jane’s Addiction. Today it’s a host for great artists including visual painters, dj’s and live musicians. With great local acts as well as national acts, Davey describes the weekly residency as “a cool, fresh vibe with high quality art.”
