Davey is a person who invests himself so deeply into his art that finding time for other things proves difficult. He is constantly creating close knit partnerships through his art whether he is traveling the world or cultivating community in Los Angeles. While working 10-14 hour days, any moment away from music is dedicated to his family. The simple pleasures of taking his son to the beach and just spending time together is some of Chegwidden’s most cherished moments. He says, “every second I have is about family.” Between that and music he recognizes that he only has time for one other hobby, he says, “sitting in LA traffic is where I feel like I spend most time these days.”
