Destani Wolf is someone whose artistry is so deeply embedded into the fabric of who she is, that it inspires her continual evolution on a daily basis. Whether it be performing on stage, writing in the studio or teaching in the classroom, she pours herself into every situation with a full understanding that each moment is unique, and that the expression connected with those moments are equally as special. With her instrument always with her and also the most direct source of her expression, Destani recognizes communication as the most powerful element in what she does. She says that music is an “outlet to share my own experience, world view, and personal stories, the ability to share those experiences with people is very powerful, it connects in such a magical way.” She talks passionately about the connection that touches upon something bigger than all of us, “you have to open up a part of your soul to be vulnerable to a crowd, to express that is a really amazing feeling.” That desire for authentic expression fuels Destani’s musical journey and continues to inspire those she comes across every day.
