Destani and Yonatan met years ago when she came down to LA to perform and he was playing in her band. Since then they have worked together on many projects including Destani’s debut solo record “Again and Again.” Yonatan engineered and mixed a few tracks, added a personal sound design for her intro, and co-wrote/produced the track “Is It You?.” They have appeared together in live settings when Yonatan has hosted his improvisational performances, in which musicians, who have never met each other, create music on the spot. Destani’s ability to improvise melodies and lyrics based on her surroundings is a testament to the beauty of tapping into the source of life and creativity. Their chemistry is infectious, as most of the time spent together working is effortless, and always full of laughter and joy. A constant give and take of inspiration Destani describes working with Yonatan as someone who has, “a respect and appreciation for the music, and an excitement for what’s being created.” An enthusiastic approach is simple when working with Destani, in any given situation she always brings confidence and musicality to the table, wrapped in a warm blanket of deep soulful expression.
