When not in the studio, Emile enjoys activities that create a sense of balance in his life. He frequents venues around LA, to stay up on the scene with current artists and fresh sounds. However, it’s his passion for other things that greatly affect his artistry, as Emile says, “music is that much better when you are inspired by non musical things.” His family is one source of constant joy, and as a new uncle, Emile has the opportunity to rediscover the world through his nephew’s eyes. Discovering the world is important to Emile, as he has traveled around the globe absorbing different cultures, and using photography as his creative outlet during those times. When not globetrotting, he also enjoys the repetition, spaciness, and danger of playing with numbers and gambling, and has a special affinity for poker. Emile enjoys the things that take life out of the monotony, giving him the chance to “recharge and escape for a little,” always with the intention of coming back to the music, fresh and inspired.
